 Jacob drove us to the the campground to visit family.   He's doing a really good job driving.  We listened to music on the drive.  We ate lunch and then went  swimming.  Wes and Gayla came to the campground for a visit.  Vikki Adam and I played 3-13 and I lost to Adam by 1 point.  I went out in the A's round but Adam got 0 points.  Jacob and Adam are spending the night.  Peyton and Isaac came home to spend the night with us.  We made pizza and watched the Garfield movie.  I made shakes and they had popcorn.

Monday:

Jared here, Mom and Dad came for a visit this weekend.  They arrived Friday afternoon - rained for their trip up and rained for the next two days of their visit here, over 2 inches of rain.  I taught Mom to drive the tractor a bit so she could drive over her mask she had to wear during her radiation.  We went back and forth over it many times.  Lots of pictures taken.  Then took it to the dumpster.  We looked for monarch butterfly caterpillars found 2 and one egg.  Brought them home to raise in captivity.  We played many many 3-13 games.  Your favorite score keeper never won a game.  boooo  hoooo.  Mom helped us plan out some new flower gardens in the front yard.  Got them tilled up and compost tilled in.  Mom left us with many good ideas for plants to fill the spaces.  Dad enjoyed spoiling Wyatt…. for some reason Wyatt sits by dad and only dad during dinner.  It’s so strange…. ha!!   Crazy dog.  We had a fun weekend and really enjoyed the visit.  They headed out Monday morning ABC and dirty side down.  

6/24/21

 Eli asked me to pull his loose tooth so I grabbed a loose tooth and pulled.  He said, "You pulled out the wrong tooth."  So I pulled out the one next to it that was also really loose. We let the kitty outside to run around in the yard.   Ei had a 2:25 appointment at the orthodontist.  Dr Bailey had recommended we make him an appointment.  They took lots of x-rays and did an exam.  The problem with his teeth is that there's no room for his canine teeth to come through.  The Dr wants to see him back again in 6 months.  They'd like to make a space but right now there just isn't enough teeth to put braces on.  It was a rainy day today.  We lost some branches in the yard.  Jacob started a fired so we could burn all the branches.  He was blowing on the fire to get it started and the fire singed his hair.  Jared and I played 3-13 and I won.  Jared just couldn't get any good cards.  

6/23/21

It was another cool morning.  Eli woke up and read while holding the kitty.  Adam was up around 8:30 and I woke Jacob.  The boys sheep did better at bracing today.  Adam's sheep doesn't like to stand sill so he's back working with him tied to the fence. Jacob drove us to the campground to visit Mom, Vikki and the kids.  Mom, Jacob, Adam and I played a game of 3-13.  Mom won and I had the high score.  The boys had fun on their bikes and went fishing.   We took a walk and went to visit the kids on the dock. Eli said he caught 18 fish.  We went swimming in the outdoor pool.  At around 4:30 we headed home,  Jacob drove.  The boys helped us catch the last two sheep we needed to shear.  Eli helped me with the last sheep while Jared took the boys to youth group.  Eli is really good with the sheep and was a big help.  The sheep we sheared was Eva and she was lumpy.  The boys came home with Jared because there was no youth group tonight.

Back from a bike ride.

Jacob and Adam took a bike ride to the post office and mailed a package for me.  It was raining while they were gone and got windy so I thought they were going to come home wet.  They said it didn't rain but was very windy.  We left right away because Jacob and Adam had appointments to get their first covid vaccine.  They are both glad to be getting the vaccine.  As we were driving I heard Eli gagging behind my seat so I asked him if he was ok.  He said he was really thirsty and found a chocolate milk behind his seat.  He took a drink of some chunky sour milk. Yuck! We stopped at the 7 eleven and got fountain drinks.  I stopped at Meijer for groceries before going home.  At home the boys helped me put away groceries.  I was cleaning out some things from the chest freezer and asked Adam to go throw  some things to the chickens.  He grabbed what I wanted thrown but also grabbed the bags that were on the table to go back into the freezer.  It was our last bag of green peppers and the bag of frozen peas.  Jared and I sheared a few sheep this evening.  Then Jared had to go to our 4H leaders house to turn in some forms.  We ate dinner when he got back. 

6/22/21

I helped the boys work on teaching their sheep how to brace.  Eli's sheep did much better than the other two.  Jacob put the bike rack on the van and loaded the bikes.  We headed to the campground to visit my parents, Vikki and the kids.  Adam looked at the maps on his phone and we took a new way to get there.  Peyton, Jacob and Adam took a long walk.  Eli and Isaac took a bike ride. Vikki, Mom and I set up the Clam screen tent.  Mom, Dad, Vikki and I played a game of 3-13.  The kids went fishing.  Jacob said he caught 5 fish.  It was cold and raining so we went in the camper for lunch.  Mom, Vikki and I played another game of 3-13.  The kid went back to the dock to fish.  We went for a walk around the campground.  It rained again but didn't last long.  When we got home the boys played Minecraft. Jared and I sheared 3 more sheep.  The first sheep refused to walk so we had to put it in the wheelbarrow to move it near the stand.
