Happy Father's Day!!

They wore the same shirt today.

The boys gave Daddy his Father's Day cards that they made for him.  He got an apple watch and a new pry bar.  After church the boys went out to work with their sheep. We cleaned up the tractor because someone was coming to look at it today.  Jared and I took a walk around the yard and sat on the deck.  The guys coming to see the tractor were about an hour late.  They offered a really low price but we didn't accept.  They were upset because they had driven so far.  After they left we headed to my parents house.  We had to turn around and go back home because we forgot the deviled eggs.  We then had to turn around again because we forgot the cards the boys made for Papa.  When we were almost to my parents house we realized we'd forgotten our swim bag.  Dad had swim trunks that the boys and Jared could use if they wanted to swim.  Today Dad baptized Peyton in the pool. Rody's family came to celebrate.  Chuck and Sue came to spend the day with us and we had a nice time visiting on the deck.  Dad grilled hot dogs and hamburgers for dinner and there was lot of other yummy food to eat. Melissa brought a fun bouncy disc paddle game that the boys had fun playing. 

6/19/21

Jared and I slept in this morning.  The boys were up watching tv.  We went to town to get our Sat goodies.   We stopped at Home Depot and TSC on our way home.  Jared was carrying the sheep vaccine with him while he walked around outside.  He set it down somewhere and we couldn't find it.  We looked for a long time.  The boys helped us and Jacob found it on the bee hives.  We started shearing the sheep in the barn because it was raining outside.  We first sheared the boys 4H sheep.  We moved outside when it was done raining.  We sheared 9 sheep today and it took us about 7 hrs. We also vaccinated, wormed and trimmed hooves.  We were exhausted.  Jared went to town to pick up pizza's for dinner.  We ate a late dinner and watched tv.

We went to my parents house around 11:00.  Dad picked up an order of wood pellets which the boys unloaded.  Then Papa, Jacob and Adam played 3-13.  Jacob won.  Mom and I played a 3-13 game at the table by the pool. I won.  It felt so nice and cool outside.  After a couple hours we headed to Vikki's house.  The kids were helping her clean her car.  We ate lunch and watched a movie.  Then I helped her finish cleaning her car.  I shampooed her seats.  We went back to Nana and Papa's to go for a swim.  We helped load a bunch of bricks from the woods into Dad's trailer for Misty.  Jared had dinner started when we got home.

I woke Jacob and Adam around 9:00.  Adam took a bike ride and Jacob went out to kick the soccer ball.  We worked with the sheep and then headed to Nana and Papa's house.  Vikki and the kids met us there.  Mom had picked up muffins from Tim Hortons for us.  Vikki had found a bunch of tennis rackets at the thrift store.   She gave one to each of the boys and me.  We went to the high school and played some tennis.  We all had a lot of fun.  Back at Nana and Papa's we went for a swim.  The water sure felt great.  After lunch we went to Melissa's house for a visit.  We brought chairs and sat in the shade under the tree.  On the way back to Mom's we stopped at the middle school for some more tennis.  The kids went for another swim with Papa when we got back.  We relaxed on the deck and drank some coffee.  Jared was at the pottery shop in town and met us at the school tennis court so we could play with him. We had a great time.  At home Jared and I played 3-13 while the boys played minecraft.  Jared's work had a team building thing at the park today.  They had a cookout and played disc golf.

Hailey's first date and prom

It was 48 degrees when I woke up this morning.  Felt nice and cool.  Jacob and Adam went for a bike ride.  Eli read his book and I took a walk around the yard.  We left for Nana’s house around 10:30.  Had to stop at Jared’s work because the swim suit bag was in his car.  We played a game of 3-13 with Nana and I won.  Then Mom and I took a walk around to look at her plants.  Vikki came over to pick up paint brushes.  I told her I wished I could help her paint.  We decided to have the boys watch her kids and Mom and I would help her paint.  We first had to scrap all the loose paint off.  It took a few hours but we sure had fun working together.  The boys had a little time to swim when we got back to Nana’s house.  Mom Vikki and I made turkey sandwiches because we hadn't eaten lunch.  Eli went home to spend the night with Aunt Bippi.  I met Jared at church to drop the boys off at youth group.  Jared brought Adam’s mask.  There was no youth group tonight because of VBS.  So we drove to Tim Horton’s for coffees and the boys got some Timbits.  At home the boys and Daddy played Minecraft.  I walked around the yard and in the woods.  Then I watered the garden.  Jared came out and we took a walk in the woods.  We ate a late dinner and watched tv.  Then we played a game of 3-13 with the boys.

Kitty is going for a slide 

Jacob and Adam went for a bike ride this morning.  This afternoon Jacob helped me hoe the garden.  I had an eye dr appointment at 2:10.  After the appointment I went to Kohl’s and Old Navy.  The boys played minecraft.  Jared and I played 3-13 and I won.  I only got 4 points the whole game.  After dinner we went outside.  Adam, Daddy, and Eli played the Kubb game.  Jacob kicked around his soccer ball.  Inside we played a game of Uno flip.

Off on a bike ride.  They rode to the dollar store on Eastman to get pops.  Eli and I played several Uno Flip games until they got back.
