6/6/21

After church we went grocery shopping and picked up pizza's for lunch. After lunch the boys played minecraft.  Jared and I played 3-13 and I won.  It was a really close game.  It was a hot day.  We took some walks in the woods and sat on the deck.  We went to Kutchey's greenhouse to get some plants for our  pots. We got some pretty bright colored flowers from the planters on the front deck.  And we got Dahlias for the pots on the other two decks. Our neighbor across the street from us works at the greenhouse so we had a nice visit with her.  This evening we watched The Sandlot and hand popcorn pop and ice cream.  The kitty has learned house to climb out of his box so we made the sides higher.

The boys were up early watching tv and we were up around 7:30.  We headed into town to get our Sat goodies.  Then we headed to the soccer field for Jacbo's soccer game.  He had to be there at 9:15.  They lost 5-4.  The other team got yellow carded and then red carded for fouls on our goalie.  Jacob got hit hard in the eye and they called a foul.  After Jacob's game we went to Eli and Adam's games.  They both started at 12:00.  The fields were right by each other which was nice.  Eli played center defense and said that's his new favorite position after goalie.  I watched the first half of Eli's game and then Jared and I switched.  Great games.  Today was Eli's last games.  After the game we went to 7elevan for slurpies and pops.  Then we went to Plymoth park to meet Eli's soccer friend Alvin.  Eli spent over 3 1/2 hrs playing and talking with Alvin.  Jared and I sat in the shade.  I left to go home and feed the kitten.  Jacob and Adam came home with me and stayed home to watch tv.  I went back to get Jared and Eli.  We exchanged phone numbers so the boys can get together this summer.  At home the boys played Minecraft.  Jared and I played 3-13 and I won.  After dinner Adam worked on making a minecraft video.  Jared mowed the lawn.  The boys helped set up a small temporary fenced area for their 4H lambs.

Adam and Eli were up around 8:00 and I woke Jacob around 9:30.  Eli helped me get lambs in the stall.  Then the boys helped me worm and vaccinate the sheep.  We picked out 3 sheep for 4H and put them in a separate stall.  I moved the sprinkler around in the garden.  The boys and I played a game of 3-13 and Jacob won.  I went out right away in the A's round and stuck Jacob and Adam with a lot of points.  It wasn't enough to move Jacob out of first.  This evening  Eli and Adam had soccer games.  Eli's game started at 6:00 and Adam's game started at 7:00.  This was the first game of Adam's that Jared and I could watch the whole game.  The boys played hard.  Eli's team lost and Adam's team won 2-1.  We got home around 9:00.  The boys played minecraft with Peyton and Isaac.  Jared and I played 3-13.  I won.  Jared had a high score.

Planting the garden

Today was the boys first day of summer break.  Adam and Eli got up around 8:30.  Adam said he woke up early and stayed in bed.  I woke Jacob up.  We all went outside to walk and get steps.  Jared has a new watch and we are all competing for steps.  We came inside and played a game of 3-13.  Adam won.  We watched The Beverely Hillbillies while we ate lunch.  Adam and I played a couple games of chess.  He won both games.  The boys helped me get the garden fence and post down and put by the garden.  We watered plants.  Eli and I had the hoses and had a water fight.  The boys played minecraft.  Jared came home from work a little early and we planted the garden.  We finished in time to eat dinner and then had to leave for Adam's soccer practice.  His soccer practice was from 6:45 to 8pm.  When we got home we worked on finished the garden and putting the fence around it.  Took a walk around the yard to look at the plants.

Last day of school!

I slept in the chair again last night.  I am feeling better today.  Jacob slept in until around 8:30.  Adam and Eli had a half day and got out at 11:15.  I took them to McDonalds to celebrate the last day with McFlurries.  The boys helped me work on cleaning the van really good.  Then we headed to Saginaw for a 2:00 dentist appointment for the boys.  Vikki and the kids came to visit me in the  parking lot while I waited.  No cavities for the boys, yay!  They haven't been to the dentist for a while due to Covid.  This evening Jacob had a soccer practice and Adam had youth group.  I stayed home with Eli and we had a great time.  We played many games of jenga. Then we took the kitty outside and had fun watching him.  We took a walk in the woods with the kitty following us.  Then Eli picked him up and carried him in his pocket the rest of the way.  We walked down the road looking for milkweed plants.  Eli really wanted to find Monarch eggs. We watched Three Stooges until bedtime.  

6/1/21

 Today was the boys last full day of school.  Jacob's last day was on Friday.  He has been really wanting to go through his room and get rid of stuff.  So today we spent much of the day working on his room together.  We fill a bag of trash and another bag to donate.  We then went to town to see the Old navy store that recently opened.  Jacob found some jeans, swimming trunks and a couple shirts.  We then headed to school.  On the way we stopped at McDonalds for McFlurries.  This evening Jacob and Adam had to get covid tested.  Eli had soccer practice and scrimmaged another team.  They played hard and ended in a tie.  We got home and made a late dinner and watched Three Stooges.  The lambs are healing really well.  We put Swat on their woods and let them back out with the rest of the sheep.
