2/4/2020

I glazed pots after work.  After getting the boys from school I continued glazing.  Jared came home from work a little early so he could start glazing his pots.  The kitchen is a mess so we ate dinner while watching a Beverly Hillbillies.  We all have colds.  Eli's teacher said that around 2:00 she sent him down to the office to get his temp taken because he wasn't feeling well.

Eva and her twins!

Jared went out to check on the sheep this morning and came running back in to tell me some lambs had been born.  Eva had lambed twin boys!  The white lamb weighed 11.9 lbs and the black one weighed 12.6 lbs.  The black lamb was fiesty but the white one needed some help.  The ewe's milk was thick like paste so we mixed up some colostrum and tubed them each 4oz.  They are doing really good.  There was no school and the boys had spent the night with Nana and Papa.  I got there around 11:30.  They were watching Hazel on tv.  We played Ticket to Ride after lunch.  The boys picked up sticks in the yard for Papa and then he took them to Tim Hortons.  Mom and I sat on the porch and the sun felt nice.  This evening we unloaded the kiln.

After church we stopped for groceries.  At home we got ready and then headed to Nana and Papa's house.  Got there around 2:00.  We all brought pizza's.  We taught Hailey how to play Ticket to ride.  She liked it and wanted to play again.  Lots of yummy food to snack on during the game.

Adam went with Daddy to get our Sat goodies.  Jared mixed glazes and then we got to use our new sieve.  Wow, it's so nice to use!  Takes so much less time!  I gave Eli a haircut and then we took Jacob and Adam to the barber.  This evening we waxed and glazed pots.

Making mac-n-cheese

Today was a half day at school.  Eli met me in the cafeteria at the end of the day.  Jacob and Adam were waiting in the van.  At home Eli found a couple eggs in the coop and he cooked them up for lunch.  He also made some mac-n-cheese.  Jacob said he made some good mac-n-cheese.  We went to Nana and Papa's house for a few hours.  Aunt Bippi and the kids came over too.  We played a game of Ticket to Ride.  Had to leave so we could get Jacob to school for Pep band.  After dinner we played Ticket to Ride with Adam.  Adam won again.

When the boys got home from school Eli worked on spelling words and some other homework.  Adam and I played Sratego and I won.  After dinner we played Ticket to Ride with Adam.  I won.

1/29/2020

Adam woke up this morning and was feeling better and didn't have a fever.  He was feeling good off and on at school.  Had a really sore throat and a fever when he got home from school.  After meds his fever went down.  He ate dinner and played Ticket to Ride.  Eli and I played minecraft together. Then Daddy, Adam and Jacob joined and played minecraft. After dinner we played Ticket to Ride and I won.  We watched a Beverly Hillbillies before bed.
