Making Christmas cookies.

Adam looked at the recipe and got all the ingredients and tools ready to go.

Time to decorate. Wyatt stole at least 6 cookies off the counter while we were tucking the boys in bed.

Today was the last day of school before Christmas break.  The kiln was too hot to open this morning and Eli had some vases to give to his teachers.  When I got home from work I pulled the vases out of the kiln and headed to school so he could give them to his teachers.  Mrs Lex said Eli could go home with me so he got out a little early.

Heading out to find more ice

Unloading the kiln.

The head cook gave me some essential oils and a sweet note.

Finished dryer balls

12/18/18

I worked on making dryer balls for the my coworkers and the custodian.  I wanted to make them sets of 5 so I had 20 to make.  It took a while and my hands were tired.  Jared helped me finish the last 10.  He drafted the wool and I made the balls.  Then we loaded the kiln which was around 1:30am.

Jared changed a bunch of light bulbs in the barn.  We now won't have to wait for the lights to warm up.  They come on right away and are really bright.  Its so nice!
