The boys were up early and watched tv.  Then they played with legos.  Adam helped me clean windows.  This afternoon we went into town to go school shopping.  Jared had to work a little late because he had a meeting until 5:00.  Jared and I took a walk in the woods before dinner.  After dinner Nik came over.  They played with legos and then went outside and played with nerf guns.  Jared got a fire going and we sat on the swing with Wyatt.  The boys had smores and then played hide and tag in the woods with Daddy.  It was nice and cool this evening.

8-21-18

We headed to Vikki's house around 10:00 today.  Nana and Jack came over and had lunch with us.   After lunch Nana, Jack, and Eli went to the hospital.  I helped Vikki haul a futon and a chair to Goodwill.  Then we went to the hospital to visit Melissa.  We stopped at some thrift stores and the pet strore on the way home.  After dinner we took a walk in the woods.

8-20-18

Had to leave for work today at 8:30 and got home around 4:30.  We had a meeting from 9-3 and then Deb took me over to the elementary to go over some things there and get the coolers plugged in. Deb was the head cook here for many years and is now going to be head cook at the preschool.  And her assistant cook retired so I am working that position.  I left Wyatt out of his pen with the boys and Adam took care of him while I was gone.  Nik came over and they played with legos and then went swimming.  Jared worked on cleaning the air conditioner with soap and water.  Then he turned it on and it made lots of bubbles.  Adam and Eli ran over to get in the bubbles.  Jared and I went for a walk in the woods after dinner.  This evening Wyatt had his first puppy class.  It only about 6 miles away and is from 8:15-9:15.  Its a beginner class for dogs over 5 months old.  He's the youngest in the class and did very well.

8-19-18

We had to be to the fairgrounds this morning for 4H take down which took a couple hours.  This afternoon we went grocery shopping and got pizza for lunch.  Then we worked on cleaning out the computer stand and took it to the end of the road.  We got rid of all our video tapes and vcr.  Around 5:30 we went to pick up a new couch/sleeper sofa.  We had popcorn, pop and ice cream and watched Dog with a blog.  Adam is sleeping on the sofa bed tonight.

Daddy and Adam went to town for goodies this morning.  They also went to the fair to take care of the sheep.  The boys had fun setting up their iPads and loading games on them today.  We had some yummy corn on the cob from our garden for lunch.  Also got some red potatoes, banana peppers, cucumbers, green beans, onions and carrots.  Eli loved helping us pick the veggies.  He was so excited to find the potatoes.  We found a blue tailed skink by the garden.  Eli let it go in the wood pile behind the coop.  It was a nice cool evening to walk around at the fair.

8-17-18

Today we went to the fair and then to Vikki's house.  I brought fruit, yogurt and granola so we could make parfaits for lunch.  We went to the hospital to visit Melissa and Kenzie and Travis came too.  Then we went to Nana and Papa's.  Jacob and Adam rode with Papa and Max and Eli went with Nana and Jack.  Evan rode with me.  Adam was riding the 4 wheeler when I got there.  Jacob and Eli had already rode.  I commented that they should be wearing helmets but Dad said they were fine.  Anyway I didn't push it because my boys were done.  Travis and Kenzie got on but he gave it to much gas and the thing reared up and came back on them.  Then it took off and knocked over some bricks.  Kenzie got hurt and was crying but soon Travis had her laughing.  Travis was playing air hockey with the kids and they played with legos in the basement.  Rody gave the boys iPads that he got out of the trash and fixed up.  We stopped to take care of the sheep at the fair on our way home.  It was nice and cool out this evening.
