We went to the fair to take care of the sheep this morning and then we headed to the library so the boys could pick out new books.  Jared met us at home and we headed back to the fair at noon to set up for the auction.  After setting up we walked around for a while and then washed the boys sheep.  The temp dropped to 71 and it rained.  Around 3:00 we went to the van so the boys could change clothes.  The boys spent a couple hours hanging out with their sheep as buyers were walking around the barns at this time.  The auction was suppose to start at 5:30 but they started a little late because of the rain.  The boys stood in the rain as they waited with their sheep.  Jacob was second to last to go in.  They each made about $400 on their sheep this year.  We stopped to pick up pizza, breadsticks, and slurpies on the way home.  It was around 7:30 when we got home.  We watched the movie Secretariat.

8-15-18

We went to the fair to take care of the sheep and then headed to Vikki's house.  Evan was there and the kids had fun together.  Wyatt had fun playing with Lenny and Lucy.  After lunch we headed to the hospital to visit Melissa.  She was in therapy so we went down there.  She was bouncing a heavy ball against a trampoline and had to then catch it.  Then she walked the parallel bars.  Jacob stood ready with a cup of water for her.  I followed with the wheelchair.  She did great!  Then she did OT.  After awhile we left and headed to Nana's house.  Isaac and Peyton rode with me and the boys went with Aunt Bippi and Nana.  We stopped for slurpies on our way to Nana's.  We helped Nana pick and shuck her corn and helped her get it in bags for the freezer.  Jared had dinner ready when we got home.  After eating we headed to the fair.  The boys cleaned out the sheep stall and put in new shavings.  Nana, Aunt Bippi and the kids came to walk around the fair with us this evening.

8-14-18

Adam came into our bedroom during the night because he had fallen out of the bunk bed.  He and Eli were up early and watched transformers.  We went to the fair to take care of the sheep this morning and then walked around for awhile.  This afternoon I had a job selection meeting at school.  I got bumped out of my position at the middle school and am now going to be working 5.2 hrs at the elementary.  Nobody signed for the head cook position at the elementary.  Here they have 2 cooks and 1 server.

The boys had their 4H sheep show this morning.  They were both very nervous but did great.  This afternoon Jared and I sheared sheep including the ram.  We separated the lambs and put the ram in the paddock with the ewes.  Nik came over and stayed for several hours.  They played with legos and then went swimming.

Had to be to the sheep farm this morning to get the boys lambs weighed.  Jacob's weighed 125# and Adam's weighed 108#.

Off to the fair

Daddy and Adam went to town to get Sat morning goodies.  Today we bathed the boys sheep and then loaded them on the trailer to take to the fair.
