The head cook is in Jamaica so I am working Teresa's shift all week and she is doing the head cook's position.  The boys went over to Nik's for an hour after school.  Jared and I worked on a rug using Della's wool.

Fyrne and Francis

We were in the nursery for second service.  There were alot of babies in the nursery today and they kept us busy.  We stopped at the store for groceries before heading home.  Had pizza and watched Dragon Training for lunch.  Nik came over for a couple hours.  The boys played outside with nerf guns and then came in to play with legos.  They went over to Nik's for an hour and played with army men.  Jared and I threaded the loom and got it all set for rugs.  We had popcorn pop and ice cream for dinner and watched Dragon Training.

3-3-18

Eli moved into our bedroom and slept on the floor the rest of the night.  He and Adam woke up first and were flying around the drone.  The boys watched Dragon training.  Adam and Daddy went to town to get our Sat goodies.  I talked to Vikki and my Mom on the phone.  Mom had to have her dog Mocha put to sleep yesterday.  We are going to miss her!   Jacob and Eli took their drones outside to fly.  It was a beutiful day.  Nik came over for a couple hours and the boys played outside with nerf guns.  They were also cracking thin ice pieces over their heads . Jared and I worked on loading enough warp on the loom to make probably around 35 rugs.  Nik went home for a little while and then came back.  Vikki and her family came over today for a visit.  Peyton and Isaac and Vikki got to feed the lamb.  Jared, Rody and the boys talked about drones.  I made some coffee to have while we visited. The kids played with foam blocks in the bedroom and also played outside.  They left around dinnertime.  After dinner Jared and I went back to working on the loom.

Opening a birthday card from Aunt Vikki and Uncle Terry

Jared and I were up around 5:30.  Eli crawled back into bed after using the bathroom.  He was super excited when I went back to check on him.  Soon he and Adam were up.  His birthday cake  had some new lego minecraft skins on it.  He said he still had tingling in his belly.  We woke up Jacob around 6:00 and Eli was ready to open his presents.  He got gum, candy, glow sticks, a nerf gun and darts, a drone, light saber, legos, gel pens, drawing pads and handcuffs.  I didn't have to work breakfast this morning so I got to take Eli to Muffin with Mom's.  We also dropped off cupcakes for his class.  School was on lock down all day because of a deadly shooting on CMU's campus.  I got out around 1:00 because I had worked for Teresa.  I picked up Eli early but he hadn't passed out his cupcakes yet so I took him back in to do that. The schools were still on lockdown.   Jared met us at home around 1:30.  Eli and Daddy played with nerf guns and the handcuffs while the drone was charging.  Eli was opening his card from Aunt Vikki and said, "Its a glorious day for me!"  Nana and Papa called to sing to the birthday boy.  Papa sang happy birthday to his "punching bag".  Eli worked on his lego set and we helped him find pieces.  Eli helped us bottle feed the lamb and then Daddy drove down to get the boys off the bus.  Its was a nice sunny day and our road is super muddy.  Adam and Eli played mincraft together.  We went to McDonalds for dinner and Eli got a phone call from Grandma and Grandpa.  The McDonalds play area was being remodeled so after eating dinner we headed to Burger king for ice cream and so the boys could play.  Jacob say he's too big to play in the play area but Daddy had fun in there.  At home we helped Eli finish building his lego set.  Then we had cake/ice cream and sang to the birthday boy.  All the boys had fun flying around Eli's drone. Eli put his box on the cot and we watched Dragon Training.  It was a fun day celebrating with our 8 year old!

Last night as a 7 year old!

 The boys had fun setting up and shooting these cups using nerf guns.  We did some slow motions videos of it.  

After work today I headed to Saginaw for a dentist appointment.  Then I stopped at Walmart to get cupcakes for Eli’s class tomorrow.  Jared picked up balloons on his way home.  Jacob won a band scholarship along with two other kids in class.  He gets to go to one week at band camp for free.  Still waiting for more information but they are also going to be playing with the Midland concert band.  Nik came over and the boys played outside in the woods.  Eli turns eight years old tomorrow and he’s super excited!  Tucking him into bed tonight he said “my belly is tingling I’m so excited!”  Adam came out to help me finish decorating Eli’s birthday cake.  He arranged minecraft figures on the cake.
