6-10-13

Bubbles were very entertaining for the boys this morning.

                      "Look, its my light bulb."
                         Sticking their bubbles together.

This joke book has been Jacob's favorite to read lately.
Eli "helping" Daddy cleaning up legos.
Eli watching Jacob do his typing.
                   Time to wrestle with Daddy.

"Look at the lego in my bubble"
Spinning in the car. The older boys are getting too big (long) for this as their legs hit Daddy. They still got a turn and had fun.

6-9-13

As we were driving we saw this little turtle crossing the road.

Ready for the parade to start.
                                       Family pictures

Isaac and Peyton were happy until the firetrucks beeped their horns.

It was a warm day, mid 80's.

Peyton was soon fine and sitting on the curb with us. She was waving and moving to the music.

Eli had a funny expression on his face as he watched.
Evan LOVED the parade. He was ready to swing on the playground float - haha!

After the parade we went to Aunt Debbies and Uncle Tom's to swim. The kids had so much fun swimming in the pool. They swam for about 4 hrs.

Jacob was going down the slide and jumping off the diving board.

Adam showing me how he can swim.

The boys liked going around the pool while holding the side.

6-8-13

Eli woke up this morning feeling much better and ate two bowls of cereal. Vikki and the kids met us at Tim Hortons for donuts. Then we headed to the soccer fields to watch the boys play. Adam's game started at 11:00 and Jacob's was at 12:45.  Kenzie promised Jacob a really cool rock if he scored a goal. He has never scored a goal but he tried his hardest today for that rock which he really wanted. He took a wipe out as he almost did score. He came to me crying saying, "I'm never gonna score a goal!" Kenzie still gave him the rock for his effort. This evening Jared mowed the lawn. The boys were a great helpers with raking grass and bringing it to the garden. I hoed the garden and spread grass on it to help keep the weeds down.
