1/31/24

 The boys had youth group this evening so Jared and I went to the pet stores in town.  We had fun walking around those stores and looking at the fish.  Needed a new round bale moved so the boys helped with that.

 Jared and I packed up a few pottery orders this morning.  I trimmed bowls and then did some cleaning.  This evening Jacob had a concert.  It was a great concert.  Afterwards we took Jacob out to eat at Culver's.   I love that he has these concerts every month!

After church we went shopping.  Jared picked up pizza's for lunch.  After lunch I tested my fish tank water.  There was some ammonia in the water so I did another water change.  Also I think my male guppy has dropsy so I set up a quarantine tank for him.  Treated it with aquarium salt.  Hopefully he is ok.  Jared left to pick Eli up from Nana and Papa's.  Eli was pretty happy about the eggs he made for breakfast.  He said they tasted great and sent me a picture.  Adam had his last futsal game of the season tonight.  They lost 7-6.  Adam scored twice.  The first goal was on the kick off.  Hard kick right into the goal.  When we got home we watched the rest of the Lion's vs 49er game.  The Lions lost by 3 points - boo!  

1/27/24

Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies.  We played some bedwars with the boys.  This afternoon we drove to Lansing to visit Pruess pets.  On the way we dropped Eli off at Nana's to spend the night with Jack.  We were going to get some Amano shrimp and gold white clouds but the stores prices were about double so we decided to wait until our store gets some more in.  We also went to Petco.  Had fun walking around the fish stores.  The most fun of this trip was getting to spend some time with Jacob.  We picked him up and took him shopping at Costco.  Then we took him to Culvers to get something to eat.  Also ordered a meal to take home for Adam.  We got home around 7pm.  Adam had a futsal game at 8pm.  We lost 24-2.  Adam scored a goal.  

1/26/24

 After taking Eli to school I went home to clean the house.  Then I went to my parents house.  Visited with Mom and scanned some receipts for my fetch app.  Kenzie came over with Rehvyn.  He's so cute an is smiling alot.  Kenzie went outside to look for feathers and helped Papa unload wood pellets.  I went out to help too.  Kenzie found some birch wood and made me a dream catcher.  Jared got out of work early and picked up the boys. Liam came home because he wanted to go to the fish store with us.  He and Eli went over to Logan's house.  We picked them up and headed to Blue Thumb.  Had fun looking at the fish there.  I got a couple Amano shrimp and some gold white clouds.  Eli got an albino pleco and he bought Liam a honey gourami with his store credit.  On the way home the boys were saying they were hungry.  We stopped at Nana and Papa's and they went in to get some animal crackers and some pops.  We dropped Liam off at home and Eli went in to look at his fish tank.  He had some algae so Eli showed him how much to feed.  He was surprised by how little food they actually need.  Eli also saw he has some baby guppy's in his tank!  This evening Adam had a futsal game that started at 10pm.  The team they play was made up of mostly Dow's varsity team.  It was a tough game.  It was a fun game to watch.  We lost. 

1/25/24

Foggy!

 Eli's school had a 2 hr delay due to the fog.  He woke up and watched some tv.  I worked on trimming my bowls.  After taking Eli to school I stopped at the post office.   I trimmed mugs and did chattering on some of them.  Then I pulled handles and attached them to the mugs.  The boys were hungry after school so I made them a turkey sub sandwich.  Eli was going to start fencing today but decided to wait one more week so he can refresh on fencing this week.  After dinner we watched Dukes of Hazards and then played some Stormworks with the boys.  

1/24/24

We got phone calls this morning saying the boys school had a 2 hr delay because of the fog and icy roads.  After a while we got another call from Meridian saying that school was going to be canceled.  Eli had I had fun playing Vault hunters. We watched some tv and made a pizza for lunch.  This afternoon I threw some large bowls and some small mugs on the wheel.  The roads were good when it was time to pick up Adam.  

1/23/24

Adam's school was closed today for a snow day! Eli still had school. I started the van before leaving because it was covered in ice. The roads were slick but not too bad. I woke Adam up around 9:00 and he was happy about the snow day. He decided to lay back down for a little while. I worked on trimming my mugs and adding handles. After lunch Adam and I played some minecraft. When it was time to get Eli it was sleeting.  When Jared came home from work he said he was going slow because the roads were slippery. Jared remembered he was supposed to book the Copper Harbor trip yesterday. He got on right away to book it but the sites we like were already taken. We are going to have to be on two different sites this year.  Grandma and Grandpa too.   It not to hard to move sites with all the help we have now with the boys being older. Jared has to get on at 8am tomorrow to book the other sites. We had fun played minecraft vault hunters with the boys this evening. Jared and I played 3-13 and I won. Yay!
