After church we went shopping and picked up pizza's for lunch.  Picked Eli up in Freeland because he spent the night at Aunt Missy's last night.  Nana and Papa took us out to see the movie The Blind.  It was a great movie!  Thank you Nana and Papa!

Jared went to SVSU today with his work for career day.  He said there were a lot of kids and they were noisy. Eli had a half day today so I picked him up at 11:25.  We headed to Nana's house.  Nana got there not long after we did.  We had bagels and muffins for lunch.  She made coffee too.  We watched Jacob's concert.  Melissa came over for a little while with Badger.  We had to leave to get Adam up from school at 2:30.   This evening we went to Blue Thumb and sold some of our platy's for store credit.  Adam walked to Best Buy and then we went there from the fish store.  Adam bought a new monitor.  He set it up at home but its a curved monitor and he didn't like it so we will be returning it.

9/28/23

I trimmed mugs and added handles which went quick with only 4 mugs to do.  Jared picked Adam up from school.  I picked up Eli and we met at my parents. Eli is staying there and Nana is taking him to his soccer game tonight.  We took Adam home and then headed to Lansing.  Tonight was Jacob's first concert with the MSU symphony band.  He and some others didn't play for the first song.  We wondered where he was.  He's been sick and we thought maybe he fell asleep.  We were very happy to see him for the next songs.  They switched chair for different songs.  We really enjoyed the concert.  Glad to see Jacob after the concert.  He had alot of friends come to it.  Olivia gave him a ride back to his dorm.  I texted him and asked if he was going out with friends or wanted us to take him out for dinner.  He wanted to go out and said he was starving.  We went out to Culver's.  Then we went to Walmart to get  him some more cough drops.  We got to Mom's house around 11:30 and Eli was asleep on the couch.  His team won their soccer game 15-2.  Eli scored 2 goals!  They got to play under the lights.

When I got home from taking Eli to school I worked on the flower beds.  After awhile I went inside and made some oatmeal for breakfast.  Today I added handles to 16 mugs.  7 of them have double handles.  That was a lot of handles!  I picked Adam up from school at 3:30.  He was really hungry for a bagel so we went to Apple Bagel.  Then we headed to Meridian to get Eli from his work out class.  He got out around 4:30.  This evening Eli had a 6:00 soccer game.  He played goalie for the first half.  Eli scored a goal on a corner kick.  The ref called off sides on it so it didn't count though.  Our coach seemed to think it should have counted.  Anyway we won 4-0.  The coach gave all the kids their favorite candy.  He had asked the parents before the game.  Eli got Mike and Ikes.  We called and talked to Grandma and Grandpa on the drive home.  Jared helped me put knobs on my mugs.  We ate a late dinner and then played some bedwars.

 Today Jared worked in Harbor Springs.  I had fun making mugs on the wheel.  I made 16 mugs.  Eli stayed after school for weigh lifting.  I picked up Adam and 3:30 and Eli at 4:30.  I did some work in the flower beds.  We let the asters get to tall so now that its blooming its falling over.  I put some t-post in and tied them up. There were tons of bumblebees on the flowers which were scaring me.  I got it  done with only a little screaming.  I took Eli to his soccer practice.  We were going to drop off Mom's car but they told us we can use it for the rest of the week.  Thank you!!!  Hopefully our car will be finished before that.  Jacob isn't feeling well still and has made an appointment at the MSU doctor for tomorrow.

 Jared went to town this morning to get our Sat goodies.  We woke the boys and played a little bedwars.  Then I took Adam to town to get a haircut.  Jared went to Freeland to pick up the courage and the boutoniere. Jared went back to town to get snacks and water bottles from Costco for Jacob.  He also stopped at Target to get Jacob a tie and a Britta water pitcher. I worked on ironing Adam's clothes and getting things ready for homecoming.   I met Jared at the soccer field with Eli at 1:30 for his 2:00 game.  His team won 12-0.  I left a little early and went home get Adam.  He was getting ready.  We met Vikki at Dow Gardens at 4:15.  Claire and her Dad met us there.  There were alot of people because three schools in the area have homecoming today.  It was a beautiful day and Vikki took lots of great pictures. Jared met us there with the boys around 5:30.  Claire and Adam headed to Saginaw to Outback Steakhouse for a 6:00 reservation.  Jared and I drove separetely to Mel's house to pick up Jack.  We then headed to the Temple Theater for a concert with Tim Hawkins! He is our favorite comedian!  Adam couldn't make it because of homecoming so we invited Jack.  We laughed so hard and had a really great time.  The old lead singer from Audio Adrenaline was there and shared his testimony.  Eli got a selfie with him. After the concert Jared took Jacob back to MSU.  I took Jack home and then headed to Midland to pick up Adam from homecoming.  He was the last one to be picked up.  He had a great time at homecoming.  At home Eli and I brushed Basil and gave her a bath.  Jared got home around 1pm.
