New kitty’s, Teddy and Basel

 

9/29/22

 I dropped Jacob off at the barber around 10:15 and then  headed to Adam's school.  He got out around 10:45.  Jacob walked to the park after his appointment was done and we picked him up from there.  We stopped at McDonalds and the boys got burgers and smoothies.  We dropped Jacob off at school on the way home.  I threw some smaller mugs on the wheel which will have double handles.  The boys saxophone arrived in the mail today.  Eli's saxophone needed alot of cleaning so I worked on that for a couple hours.  Jacob stayed after school to play for a CMU audition for Honars band.  Jared picked him up on his way home from school.  When Jared got home he left and took the two saxophone to Herter's Music shop in Bay City to get checked over and repaired if needed.  Jared talked with Jacob's clarinet instructor. I put some hot dogs on the grill for dinner but they weren't finished before I had to leave to take Jacob to play with the Midland concert band.  He ate his dinner on the drive.  I set the timer and asked Adam to take the hot dogs off the grill and turn it off when the timer went off.  I was talking to Jared on the drive and told him Adam was going to get the hot dogs off the grill.  He said, "Do you want me to get some more hot dogs on the way home". Haha.  I guess he was right because the timer was still going off when I got home and the hot dogs were black.  Of coarse Adam blamed it on his concussion.  Haha.  We played some bedwars with the boys. 

9/28/22

 I worked on trimming mugs this morning.  I picked Adam up from school just before his lunch hour because his head was really hurting.  We stopped at McDonalds on the way home.  Also stopped at Staples to get Adam some graphing paper.  Jacob wanted to get to school early so I dropped him off around 12:30.  I finished my handles this afternoon.  We ate dinner early.  Jared left with Adam to headed to the soccer field.  Its the big game of the rival schools, Midland Chemics vs Dow Chargers.  Adam's coach saw him at the game and had him come sit with the team.  I dropped Eli and Jacob off at the Pet Store and they are going to walk to church for youth group at 6:30.  The soccer game started at 5:30.  It was a tense but great game.  Our jv team won 1-0.  The varsity team lost 0-1.  We picked the boys up from youth group and Jared left with Jacob for his clarinet lesson. 

9/27/22

Adam went to school this morning for a few hours.  I picked him up around 10:45.  Today I threw mugs on the wheel.  I also pugged clay.  When Jared got home we took a walk in the woods. After dinner I dropped Eli off at the soccer complex for his practice at 6:00.  We stopped for new soccer socks on the drive there.  Then I headed to Meridian to dropped Jacob off for his band practice.  He had to be there at 6:15.  Jared took Adam to his "Beat Dow" dinner.  They served them Olive Garden.  Jared went back to the soccer field with Eli until Adam was done.  

9/26/22

Jacob dropped his water bottle and broke the glass in his table. 

 After taking Eli to school we headed to my parents house.  Adam had a headache this morning so was going to do school at home but his school was closed today so that worked out well.  Vikki came over too and brought Lucy.  We had a nice visit.  We looked at wrist corsages and went to Freeland to  visit the Florist.  We stopped and one but it looked trashy and was closed.  Then we went to Austins and they were so nice.  We ordered a nice corsage for Claire.  Eli worked on his chair test video.  Jared and I worked in the woods on  filling in low spots. Jared used the tractor.  

9/25/22

 After church we stopped at a few stores to look for some clothes for Jacob to wear to homecoming.  Then I went to Meijer for groceries.  Jared picked up pizza's for lunch.  After lunch Jared and I worked on fixing the old riding lawn mower.  We fixed it and then we both worked on mowing the lawn.  I started a fire and sat on the swing.  Our neighbors across the street have started working on clearing their woods.  There was a bobcat with a crazy attachment on the front that could take down and chew up trees.  It was cool to watch.  This evening we had popcorn pop and ice cream and watched tv. 

9/24/22

 We left with Eli this morning because he had to be to the soccer field for pictures at 8:45.  Jared dropped us off and then he went to get our Sat drinks and donuts.  Eli's game started at 10:00.  It was raining most of the game but we stayed dry under the sunbrella.  Eli played goalie in the second half of the game.  We lost 4-1.  It was a good game and they played hard.  Jacob said he slept in until 11:00.  We got home around noon.  After lunch Jared and Jacob changed the oil on the car.  I started a fire in the firepit.  Then I worked on cleaning the workshop.  Jared came to help me when he finished the oil change.  We came inside for lunch. We also worked on  fixing the compost bin.  There were pumpkins growing on it and the wood broke in the back right corner.  We fixed it. 

9/23/22

 Took Eli to school and then headed to Delta college with Jacob and Adam.  Jacob went in the the store to buy a book.  We went to Vikki's house.  We walked around the yard and sat in the sunroom.  I helped her clean Lucy's teeth.  They were pretty bad but now look great. Had Vikki's homemade chicken noodle soup for lunch and it was so yummy Eli had soccer practice this evening.  Jacob drove to Bay City for his clarinet lesson.  His instructor forgot to tell him it was canceled because he had a death in the family.  Jacob finished his driving hours.

Adam decided to stay home again today.    I trimmed pots last night so today I made handles and  attached them.  Vikki and Mom got here when I was putting on my last handle.  We had a nice visit.  Mom took Jacob to school and picked us all up candy bars, yummy!  After lunch we took a walk around outside to see the animals.  Eli's soccer practice got canceled due to a storm.  We made chicken Alfredo for dinner.  It was yummy.  Jacob had marching band practice from 6-8pm.  Jared and I took a walk in the woods and then sat on the swing for awhile.  The weather was nice.
