5/31/22

Adam woke up early this morning.  He thought it was after 8:00 and wondered why Eli wasn't at school yet.  I weeded in the flowerbed.  Then I weeded around the raspberries and the hollyhocks. I cleaned the pottery room.  Kenzie came over this afternoon to pick up Mylee.  Wyatt sure barked alot and wanted her undivided attention.  Eli was happy to get Bo out so Kenzie could meet him.  Jacob referred as center ref for a U8 game.  I dug around the blueberry bushes and treated them.  Adam and Eli helped me get some pine needles to put around them.  

5/30/22

We all slept in some this morning.  Jacob was in the Memorial Day parade in Sanford.  He had to be there at noon and the parade started at 1:00.  We parked in the shade to watch the parade.  We had a great time.  At home we made sub sandwiches for lunch and watched Obwan Konobi.  Jacob and Adam hadn't seen it yet.  Then Jared and I sat outside on the deck and took a walk in the woods.  The boys played some minecraft.  After dinner this evening we played Kubb with the boys.  The mosquitos came out but weren't biting.  We loaded the kiln this evening.  

5/29/22

I did some weeding in the flower beds this morning and watered plants.  Something ate a blueberry bush.  After church we went shopping.  Came home and had pizza for lunch.   Got the kayak trailer out and power washed the trailer and the kayaks and canoe.  We met Bruce, Max and Jack at the Chippawa river around 1:30.  We put in the kayaks and canoe and enjoyed paddling to the boat launch by the tridge.  We sure had a great time.  The boys had fun splashing each other and hooked the kayaks together in a train.  Max had the best spot in the back.  We sure had fun!.  We stopped at the gas station for pops on the way home.  At home we played some minecraft.  Then we had popcorn pop and ice cream and watched the Chip and Dale movie. We picked Jacob up from the school around 8:30.  Eli made him a crown out of a piece of wire and had me take it to him.  Its a joke with the clarinet section.  Jacob said it was the best trip.  He sure had a great time.  I loved hearing about his trip.  He showed us the souvenirs he got and gave his brothers each a cool Disney pin.  We played some bedwars before bed.  Jacob found out that his guide leader just tested positive for covid.  

5/28/22

 We met Mom and Adam at Tim Hortons this morning at 9:30.  We gave Nana a pool hose and picked up Adam.  At home we played some minecraft bedwars.  Then Adam worked on mowing the lawn.  Jared cut down some dead pine trees and Eli and I worked on starting a fire.  It was really hard to get the fire going. Adam came and helped when he finished mowing.  We were going to take out the dying pine tree by our driveway but its too close to the power lines.  We also took down some dead trees in the woods.  This afternoon we went to Culvers for concrete mixers.  They were yummy!  We played some fun games of Kubb.  We came inside and ate a late dinner.  Then we played some more Minecraft with the boys.
