Jared here.  We took a trip down to Indianapolis to see Mom and Dad during the boy’s springbreak.  Headed down on Thursday and back on Saturday.  Jacob had clarinet lessons so we had to be back by 5pm.  We had a great time visiting and working in the yard and cleaning the garage out.  We also cut mom and dad’s cable line… ok so that wasn’t fun.  We were burring the line that was newly installed that ran around the house from the box to where it goes inside.  Well we decided to clean up some of the old wire underground near by and … well lets just say that it wasn’t old wire.  It was the wire that ran from the pole to the box on the house.  It was now all underground… 30 -35 yrs ago when it was originally installed in was in the air … so not anymore.  Besides that we had a great time.  We found lots of old antiques and old photo slides in the barn.  We brought home the slides and got a slide projector and screen off of facebook market place.  And we watch slide shows in the evening now.  It’s a lot of fun.  Lots of pictures I don’t think I’ve seen before.  Proof that dad once didn’t have a beard and also proof that Eric got dirty as me on camping trips… ok almost as dirty.  Trip was a lot of fun and we headed home.  Oh yeah we also fixed up mom and dads kitchen table..  Recoated with polyurethane.  Mom set some hot cookie sheets on them and … well lets just say it needed to be re-sanded and recoated.  And Eric couldn’t put finger prints in it this time…HA! That is all I think.    

3/30/22

 Jared took Jacob to school this morning for Delta.  We picked him up from Delta around 10:00 and then headed to my parents house.  Vikki and the kids were there.  Nana had yummy muffins and coffee made.  We played sequence.  It was Nana, Vikki, and I vs Jacob, Adam and Peyton.  We played a few games.  Jacob was really tired and took a nap on the couch.  The boys and Peyton helped Papa outside.  They got to go up on the roof so Jacob could fix the siding.  Nana had turkey sandwiches and chips for lunch.  She made root beer floats for desert.  Eli and Isaac had a ton of fun rollerblading in the basement. Nana and Adam taught me how to play skip bo.  We also played phase 10 together on our phones.  We left around 5:30 and headed home.  This evening we had fun playin minecraft with the boys.  

3/29/22

 I took Eli to the pharmacy this morning to get his covid booster.  He had a 10:20 appointment.  Then I took the boys to McDonalds.  We went to the library before going home.  Jacob stayed home to work on an essay.  We played some mincraft bedwars this afternoon.  Adam peeled potatoes for dinner.  We had porkchops mashed potatoes and corn for dinner.  We played some games of sequence.  It was Jared and I vs Jacob and Adam.  Jared and I won every game.  We sure had fun.  We played some more Minecraft with the boys after dinner.

Jared took Kit Kat with him to this morning and Mom met him at Tim  Hortons to pick her up.  We got our Sat goodies.  Played some minecraft with the boys this afternoon.  Played sequence with Adam.  Went to Herter's music store in Bay city.  We dropped off Jacob's old clarinet to get worked on.  Also dropped off Adam's guitar to get restrung.  We also signed him up for guitar lesson which he will start first week in April.  We walked around the music shop and visited until Jacob's clarinet lesson which was moved to 4:00.  We went to McDonalds and Tim Hortons.  Jacob got a Starbucks coffee on the way home with his gift card.  Talked to Grandma and Grandpa and also talked to Kenzie and Travis.  Watched some tv and played some more minecraft.  

3/25/22

 Mom came over around 8:00.  I woke up Jacob.  We visited until it was time to head to the humane society.  Jacob stayed home and worked on homework.  We dropped of KitKat to be spayed and then headed to Tim Hortons.  Mom treated me to a coffee and a muffin.  She got muffins for the boys too.  She thought she ordered enough for Jared but I guess she ate his, haha.  We sat in the parking lot and enjoyed our coffee and muffins.  We talked to Vikki on speaker phone.  We had to be to Adam's school at 11:00 because he had a half day today.  At home Adam and I taught Nana how to play bedwars.  We had some good laughs playing.  She had never even played Minecraft so it took some practice.  But she made many "deposits" into our chest.  Haha.  I took Jacob to school at 12:30.  We played a couple more games of bedwars.  Then we played a few games of sequence.  Adam one one game and I won two.  Poor Nana forgot to draw a couple times.  Eli heard Nana played bedwars and was super bummed she wasn't there when we got home from school because he wanted to play with her.  We played minecraft on the server.  I helped Adam do some mining.  Eli gave me some osolots and helped me build a pond for them.  Jared went to to Human society to pick up KitKat.  They forgot to call me so I called them.  He got home with her around 8:30.  She's doing great.  I put her in a bigger crate with a cardboard litter box.  She sure loves to dig in  that litter.  After a while I offered her a little food and water.  She really liked that.  She's doing great!

3/24/22

 I left early with Eli this morning because he wanted stop at the gas station to get a drink and a snack for the movie they're watching today.  I trimmed pots and then added double handles to 4 pots.  I added holes to the bottom of the other 4 pots.  Then I made small plates to go under the pots with the holes.  I finished the handles after the boys were home from school.  We ordered a used saddle from marketplace and it arrived today.  I was pretty disappointed that the saddle had a bunch of cracks in the leather on top and underneath.  You couldn't see any in the pictures.  Eli loves the saddle still and really wants to keep it.  We had taco's for dinner.  Played some meincraft with the boys.

It was a cold, rainy day today.  We had a pair of hooded mergansers in our yard today! They were happy diving in the water.  Jacob had alot of homework to work on today.  He had to be to school at 12:30.  I made big pots today that will get double handles for a request.  She wants 11 of them and possible 24.  They are to hold flowers on the tables at her wedding reception. Jacob had an orthodontist appointment after school.  I took the boys for shakes at McDonalds on the way home.  Jared threw some pots on the wheel when he got home.  Adam got his guitar today.  He is looking forward to taking lessons on it.  We had meatloaf, mashed potatoes and corn for dinner.  Jacob worked on homework  until late and then practiced his instrument.  The boys had a great time at youth group tonight.  We played some Minecraft until bedtime.  Eli really liked the boys that Adam's guitar came in .  He is sleeping in it tonight.

3/21/22

 This evening we went to Christian roller skating night at the rollerskating rink.  Vikki, Mom and the kids met us there at 6:30.  Jared, Eli, Peyton and her friend Lilly, and Isaac all had fun rollerblading or rollerskating.  I went around once but that was enough for me.  Even us who didn't roller-skate had alot of fun hanging out together and watching.  Nana brought bags of yummy candy.  It finished at 8:30.
