Happy New Years!!!

 The boys slept in this morning.  Eli and I went out to take care of the animals.  A large pack of bubble wrap was delivered so I took it to the tack room.  I got distracted trying to clean up the tack room.   Eli fed hay to Bo and the ram and Han.  Then he gave the ewes some grain and fed the chickens.  He was happy to surprise me and tell me it was all done.  Jacob slept until 10:30.  We watched some tv.  Then the boys helped me take down the Christmas tree and put everything away.  We listened to Christmas music and it was all put away quickly.  We had fun playing bedwars.  We started putting together Jacob's lego puzzle he got for Christmas.  This evening Adam spent a couple hours playing soccer with Sawyer at the Auburn sports center.  Its a covered soccer field.  There were alot of older kids playing there.  He had fun but was cold in shorts and a t-shirt.  He wouldn't even take a sweatshirt because he though it was going to be indoors.  The boys had fun playing bedwars with Andrew this evening.  Jared and I played a game too.  

Christmas in IN

 

We drove down to Carmel IN to visit for Christmas on Monday the 27th of Dec.  We arrived around 5:30 pm ish. Eric Kat Andrew and Noah arrived and we had a good time chatting. Noah brought his drone over and was zipping up and down outside quite quickly. He flew it around really good, certainly has the nack for it. Tuesday we went down to Mom and Dad’s church to help clean up from Christmas, put lots of things away and straightened up quite a bit.  We headed home around noonish.  I drove over to see my old friend Kenny from when I use to work at the old grocery store 30 or so years ago.  We had a good visit.  Then in the afternoon we all opened presents.  Lots of limes and lemons for everyone.  Andrew and I played a few games of chess.  I struggled to win both games.  Andrew is very good and was quite challenging.  Lots of 3-13 games were played.  Everyone’s favorite score keeper won quite a bit.  One game everyone’s favorite score keeper won by 100 points.  He was winning quite a bit… that win streak stopped Wednesday morning and Everyone’s favorite score keeper lost by quite a bit.  Mom let us have a huge cast iron pot for planting flowers.  It was Uncle Phil's parents and was used for butchering back in the day.  We had lots and lots of fun and headed home in the afternoon on Thursday.
