I painted inside the closets today.

This evening we went to Melissa's house for trick or treating.  Jacob dressed as Uncle Si, Adam was a soccer player and Eli a ninja.  It was raining/sleeting as we walked around the neighborhood with the kids.  Jacob and Max also went around the next block.  Bruce made chili and Mom made me turkey chili - yum!!  There was homemade bread too and pumpkin cake.  Eli brought his recorder to play.  The kids watched a Pink Panther movie.

Adam's, Eli's, and Jacob's

This morning Jacob was struggling to put his contacts in and one dropped on the floor.  We had a hard time finding it but finally Jacob found it.  He got it in soon after that but it bothered him so he took it out.  We looked at it and it had ripped.  He was bummed as he was looking forward to wearing them to school.  Tammy had to cover for someone at the Jr high so I was working alone today.  Krystal asked Connie to come in to help and she came as soon as she could. She brought me a coffee from McDonalds.  After work I went home and worked on painting the entrance room.  Then I went to town and stopped at the eye dr to get Jacob another contact.  They had only given him one pair because its a trial.  I went to the Halloween store to get Jacob's costume.  I picked the boys up from school.  At home I put another coat of paint on.  Adam's soccer practice was canceled due to rain.  Jared stopped at Home depot for our new flooring but it had been damaged.  They had ordered us two more cases but told us to take it home and let them know if any more was damaged.  We went through them piece by piece and 7 boxes were all were damaged.  The boys carved pumpkins this evening.  They had alot of fun.  We took the damaged flooring back to the store and they ordered us 7 new cases.

This afternoon I worked on clearing out the entrance room and taking down trim.  Eli got his recorder today and had fun playing on it.  This afternoon Jacob had an eye Dr appointment to learn how to wear contacts.  It took him awhile to get the first one in but once he got it the other eye was much easier.  The Dr checked him out and then he learned how to take them out.  He put them back in pretty quickly.  We went to Kohl's because Jacob wanted to look a shoes.  At home we ate dinner and then went to the high school for a band concert.  The concert was great!  After the concert we went to McDonalds for shakes.

10/28/19

  After picking the boys up for school we headed to town to look at halloween costumes.  This evening Adam had soccer practice.  When they got home we headed out to get pumpkins.  They didn't have any at the farm where we usually get them.  So we drove around looking for some.  It was dark so hard to see but we found some.  We saw a six point buck on the side of the road.

10/27/19

After church we got groceries.  Watched Heartland and had pizza for lunch.  The afternoon we picked up 2 ton of wood pellets from TSC.  The boys helped Daddy put it away. The first ton took them just over 3 mins and the second ton took just over 2 mins to put away.
