This evening we headed to Mel's house for trick or treating.  The weather was perfect for trick or treating.  The kids had a great time and got lots of candy.  Back at Mels the kids dumped out their candy and made some trades.  We had warm chili and homemade bread.  Also some yummy pumpkin cake.

Jacob stayed home from soccer practice to work on homework.  He had to write a scary story.

Daddy taught Jacob how to change the plug outlets.  We had a lot that needed to be changed so  Daddy was happy to have the help.

Adam and Daddy went to town for goodies.  Then Jared and I went to the grain elevator to pick up a ton of sheep food.  The boys helped us unload it when we got back.  We got to the soccer fields at 1:30 for Adam's 2:00 game.  Eli's game started at 2:30 and then Adam played again at 4:00.  It was cold and raining.  Stopped to get pumpkins on our way home.  We made pizzas and watched Narnia.

10-26-18

Today was a half day at school.  I had to be to work at 7:00 so Jared took the boys to school.  He left early so they could stop at the gas station and pick up chips and pop's.   Jacob and Adam could bring a drink and a snack for reading hour at school.  Eli picked out snacks and a pop to have after school.  I got out of work at 12:00 and the boys got home just before I did.  Eli was laying on the couch so I asked if he was feeling ok and he said his throat hurt.  I took his temp and it was 99.8.  I was going to  my parents house and Melissa was coming over but I didn't want to take him sick.  I called Jared to tell him I wasn't going and he said he could come home with Eli and we could still go for our visit.  Mom had a pizza made for the boys and we ate veggie soup.  Vikki came over for a little while too.  I drove with Mom to take Mel home.  Mom and I went through Grandma's pictures.  We got home around 8pm.

These bears were on Jared's coworkers property.  He lives by the Hope twp park.
