Mom came over to visit today.  She brought my sisters dog, Abby, for me to trim.  Abby bites when she's being groomed so we gave her a tranquilizer an hour before.  She was so knocked out from it that she didn't want to stand.  I didn't even have to use the snuzzle (Kenzie's name for my sock muzzle) - haha.  Her hair was matted so it took awhile but I had fun visiting with Mom and seeing the boys lego creations while trimming.  I gave Mom a lesson on the spinning wheel and she was doing good.  She just needs to practice treadling now.

When we got home from church we noticed that the bees from the yellow hive had swarmed.  Jared got geared up, got the ladder and a bucket and worked on getting the bees back into the hive.  

Here is our new spinning wheel and chair.  

 Today we worked on waxing and polishing our spinning wheels.  Jared took a nap in his hammock in the woods.  I had fun playing bank with the boys.  Jared and I finished picking the rest of our wool.  It took a while but now its all ready for carding.  Yay!

We were excited to win the bid at an online live auction for this Ashford spinning wheel and spinning chair.  Kenzie and I worked on moving some furniture around in the house today.  And then later Jared and I moved some more furniture around.

Went to Vikki's today.  The boys watched a TinkerBell movie.  

Nana and Aunt Vikki came over to visit for while.
